The following graphs and schematics (figures 1-5) were taken from the World Health Organization’s “Toxic Cyanobacteria in Water: A Guide to Their Public Health Consequences, Monitoring and Management", Chorus and Bartram (eds.), 1999.  These visual displays of suggested guideline levels may prove useful to those experiencing freshwater harmful algal blooms and who are in need of some assistance.  For more detailed information please consult a local expert or review this reference book.
